Absolutely. If pickleball isn’t your thing you can buy a social ticket to come watch and enjoy everything else the event has to offer.
  • What else is going on during the event?
Many other things will be going on! We’ll have raffle prizes, a silent auction, food, drinks, music, tailgate games and more.
  • What is the format?
We’ll have two sessions of ladder play. What is ladder play, you ask… see below! Players are arranged much like the rungs of a ladder. The idea is to be at the top of the tennis ladder. It is a lot like king of the mountain. As you win, you move up the ladder. Winning players take the place of their higher ranked opponents, thus "leap-frogging" them. A tennis ladder works by allowing players to challenge each other in a tournament-style format. Players are ranked according to their skill level, and then they challenge someone higher on the ladder if they win (ie. moving up the ladder). If they lose, they drop down a rung. This creates a system of competition and a way for players to test their skills against others and level the playing field.

If you have a paddle, please bring it. However, if you do not own a paddle please don’t go buy one. We’ll have extra paddles on hand for you to borrow during play.
  • Do I have to be good to participate?
No! The main goal of this event is to bring people together for a greater cause and to raise money for the Keep Going 25 Foundation. The ladder style play helps level the playing field for all pickle ballers. We welcome guests from all experience levels!
